Tri-Cap Fuel Assistance Appointments call 781-322-6284
Free assistance is available for those trying to quit smoking.
The helpline offers free telephone counseling, information and referral services to Massachusetts residents who would like to stop smoking.
For assistance in English call 1-800-879-8678.
For assistance in Spanish call 1-800-833-5256
The American Cancer Society may be reached at 1-800-227-2345.
Winter Driving Tips Available
Tips include:
*Keep your fuel tank at least half full to prevent the fuel line from freezing.

*Make sure you fill your windshield washer reservoir with a cleaning solution that will not freeze.

*Keep a blanket, flashlight and a small shovel in the trunk of your vehicle.

In addition, the Woburn Senior Center offers appointments with a SHINE (Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders) counselor. These appointments are free of charge and can be arranged by calling 781-897-5960.
