Services Division
The Services Division is the smallest and least visible of the Woburn Police Department's three divisions. It consists of a captain, a lieutenant, two sergeants and four officers. The department's non-sworn staff are included in the division.

Services Provided
The Services Division provides technical support services to the rest of the department, as well as, assisting with and overseeing court activity for the Department.

The Services Division is responsible for:
  • Facility Maintenance
  • Communications Systems
  • Computer Operations (including support of the Fire Department)
  • Department Training
  • Evidence and Recovered Property Control
  • Development of Policies, Procedures and Practices
  • Accreditation Compliance and Management
  • Grant Application, Compliance and Reporting
  • Crime Analysis
  • False Alarm Processing and Billing
  • Records Management
    • Police Incident Reports
    • Traffic Crash Reports
    • Traffic Citation Processing
  • Department Business Processing
    • Accounts Payable and Receivable
    • Department Insurance Processing
  • Firearms Permit Processing
  • Parking Ticket Processing and Collections
